Medieval and Tudor Farmer’s Market

Sunday 29th September 2024 10am-4pm

Faversham Town Council will be hosting its first Medieval and Tudor Farmer’s Market, where there will be a variety of stalls and re-enactors around the town.  Please view the Facebook event page for more information.

 

Faversham Charters and Magna Carta exhibition is a MUST SEE during your visit to Faversham’s Medieval and Tudor Farmer’s Market.

Located in 12 Market Place, Faversham, ME13 7AE.  FREE entry to all, donations welcomed!

-We will have medieval stocks and a bench for you to sit on and have your photo taken. (outside in the Market Place)

-We will have a photo board showing King John sealing Magna Carta, which you can put your head in and pose for a photo. (outside 12 Market Place)

-We will have an adult’s table where you can play a medieval board game.  We have a 7×7 Tafl board and an Alquerque board.  Instructions will be provided. (inside 12 Market Place)

1215 Magna Carta Anniversary

Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June 2025

Faversham is proud to have an original version of the 1300 Magna Carta.

We are celebrating the sealing of the first version of Magna Carta in 1215 and recognising the 800th anniversary of the 1225 version.

 

At Faversham Charters and Magna Carta Exhibition, 12 Market Place, you will have several photo opportunities:

 

We will have an adult’s table where you can play a medieval board game.  We have a 7×7 Tafl board and an Alquerque board.  Instructions will be provided.

 

We will also have tables with children’s activities, that can earn them a Wheels of Time badge, including:
